There are NO decent nightspots, at least in my view, in the Oxnard area. Not even close in comparison with the madness in Hollywood, Santa Monica, L.A., or even Ventura or Aguora Hills. so this means you'll have to drive. Please plan ahead and designate a driver if you are staying in Oxnard and want to go out- you'll have to go drive a distance to get to a real scene!
