The outlet mall out at Cabazon is huge! I'm going to guess here...500 stores? It will definitely take you a while to walk around, but you can find some great deals. There are great name brand stores (Nike, Quicksilver, etc) and a lot of high end stores that I avoid, but you can't normally find at other outlet malls. I first fell for their products while waiting for a plane at MAnchester airport in England. They hace a store in Palm Desert and Rancho Cucamonga. Pricey, but a nice treat.

Proving that good things come in small packages, this tiny vintage clothing store is a stop any vintage fan should make when in Palm Springs. Unlike a lot of vintage places that seem more focused on quantity than quality, the items sold in The Frippery are clearly picked by someone with a very discerning eye. There are only two or three racks of clothes at any given time, but what there is is choice. It's all 20th-century stuff, so don't expect old corsets or lace up boots. The whole store is only about the size of a walk-in closet, so it's not for the claustrophobic, but if you don't mind small places, it's worth staying to comb through the merchandise.
Great vintage clothing in good condition.
Don't expect thrift shop or flea market prices even though it's vintage. Expect to spend about what you would at a department store.
