Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: April in Northern California can be tricky. Its sort of like Forrest Gump's saying... "you never know what you are going to get". I was perfectly comfortable in shorts and polo shirts, however a nice pair of spring pants would do you well. You also may get a shower or two, so a windbreaker/waterbreaker jacket would serve you well.
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: I definitely made the mistake of forgetting my sunblock, and paid the price on the face. Lather up!!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Clothes? What clothes?? Unless you're really, really rich, I don't think you'll be staying here... In that case, who needs to pack along extra clothings? :-))
Photo Equipment: Ah, this - you MUST bring along!
So, DON'T FORGET to bring along at least ONE camera!!! You just never know who you'll meet here!!!! Hint, Hint, HINT.....
Miscellaneous: DON'T forget to bring along your ATM card and.... an open mind.
Remember, if your ATM card is linked to international networks like 'Cirrus', 'Plus', 'The Exchange' etc, you can withdraw money from any ATM machines in the world. What's more, you'd even benefit from the low interbank exchange rates being given to you vis-a-vis if you were to change it at your local money-changer. I have survived on this method for ALL my trips abroad and so far, no ATM machines have failed me. Yes, even in the remotest villages in Africa. :-)) If you haven't tried this method, I challenge you to do so today. And be pleasantly surprised at how much you can save at the end of the day using this method. I kid you not!
