Cowgirl Creamery is a destination of its own for food lovers. The locally produced artisan cheeses produced here are probably as good as you will find anywhere. They have many varieties for their own cheeses, which are soft ones, but also sell a wide range of regional and imported cheeses also. You really can't do any better if you are looking for quality food.
They have tours of the creamery (we didn't go on this) also. But if you don't have the time, you can just stop here to try some samples, buy a few (it will be difficult to choose) and learn about their products.

Excellent organic cheeses and other specialty products. Outside of this shop there is not alot of shopping in the Pt Reyes area. Inverness and Inverness Park are literally don't sneeze or you miss them towns. Pt Reyes stations actually has stores but not many. If shopping is what you like I would not come here.

This is the ranger station for Point Reyes National Seashore. In here you can talk with rangers to get information on camping sites, hiking trails, etc. They will provide you with free trail maps, guides to trails, etc. There is also a reservations desk, where you can reserve spots at the various campsites. And lastly, there is a gift shop where you can purchase postcards, books, posters, etc. that have to do with Point Reyes and/or California's wilderness.
