 Basaic Says:  The Children's Discovery Museum of the Desert has a variety of multidiscipline exhibits designed to stimulate and educate young minds. Many of the exhibits are "hands-on". Hours are 10 AM to 5 PM Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $8.

 Yaqui Says:  Along the walkways are lined with beautiful desert fauna and glorious bronze sculptures that have been dedicated by various sponsors to families members who passed away. Just behind the library is this huge field of green grass. I am sure the children just love running... 

 Yaqui Says:  This is the The Mirada Fountain-Entry to The Ritz-Carlton in Rancho Mirage. To see this beautiful fountain, park over in the City Hall area. Just be careful because it is next to a steep road that is the exit and entrance to residence and the hotel up the road.

 Yaqui Says:  Sometimes I like to seek out the city halls of communities. They are often very historical or their Architecture is stunning. This building caught my eye and plus it provided some very safe parking to visit the Big Horn Trail, Cancer Memorial and the stunning Ritz Carlton... 

 Yaqui Says:  The trail is Difficulty to moderate, it does have some steep areas that is less than 1/4 mile in length with several switchbacks. At the top awaits a picnic shelter and an incredible panoramic view.
