There is plenty to do in this small resort town. You can shop, fish, ski and hike. During the winter there is snow and during the summer Big Bear Lake is a nice respite from the desert heat.

Redlands Nightlife

  • Royal Falconer British Pub

You instantly realize that you are stepping into a bit of England. The dark décor, long and stately bar, and British memorabilia makes for a welcoming place to meet and be with friends. If you are looking for a little more activity with your beverage and conversation, don’t over look the upstairs with its 2 pool tables and 2 dartboards. If you are...

Redlands Transportation

  • Free way

When I visit Redlands,my friend took me everywhere by her car. Japans high way are so expencive but all way was free here. I'm jealous! I can go everywhere if I have much time! I took this pic when my friend was driving to Palm springs. Redlands is surrounded by nature like desert, hill and mountain. So all the view from car was really nice for me.

The best way to get to Redlands, as with any place in Southern California, is by car. The nearby 10 freeeway that runs through the northern end of Redlnads gives the easiest access, but watch out for the really baaaaad traffic when everyone gets off work from about 4 to 8PM.Califonia starts with the letter 'c' and so does car. Driving a car is fine...

Redlands Warnings and Dangers

WARNING! If you are moving to this area and need dental care....DO NOT go to Redlands Dental Associates! They are located at 860 W Redlands Blvd. They are the meanest, rudest people I have encountered in a long time! They gave me the run around for a broken crown that needed to be repaired. All they are interested in is the $$. They even tried to over bill me by $300.00! I called my insurance holder to find out the correct amount and it was over by that much!
So watch out for these guys if you move here and need a dental office. When I find a new one, I will let you know if they are good or bad.

Redlands Tourist Traps

  • Pharaoh’s Lost Kingdom' is the...

Pharaoh’s Lost Kingdom' is the ultimate tourist trap. Everything is extremely expensive and you do not get much for your money. I went there once, because I had relatives visiting with their kids and they wanted to go. It is a waste of time and a watse of money. Go on a sunny day and just walk around first before you buy any tickets. Get an idea...

Education vs. FUN! FUN! FUN! Aaaah! It's an amusement park! The ultimate tourist trap (besides those cheesy roadside banners that say something like: Four miles to the Biggest Ball of Rubberbands in the World!) Watch out for this one, and you can't miss it since it greddily rubs up against the freeway, leaving the poor nearby museum to fend for...

Redlands Off The Beaten Path

  • Unique gem in a small town

I discovered this extremely interesting little shop awhile ago and I can't get over the selection of unique things they have to offer. The name is "Peek Inside."The owner really loves her job! Each week you can go in and find something new. It is hard to get out without buying something. But be sure you will love everything you decide to buy even...

  • Sunsets

You can catch a spectacular sunset in Redlands if you just take the time to notice them. The picture here is from February 2005 after a big rain storm. Nature gave me the best canvas to work with, there's no way not to take a great shot of this! Enjoy!

  • Walking around the city...

Walking around the city looking at all the wonderful historic houses and talking to all the nice people that live here. I have lived in Redlands for 8yrs and can't think of another city that makes you feel so at home. The people are nice, the area is clean and safe. It just feels good to live in a 'city' that feels more like a town.
