After hearing about this place forever from my Salvadorian friend, we went for dinner. Oh my gosh!! It was great. It's medium-paced, dine-in Mexican food. It's much better than Taco Bell or El Pollo Loco, but not as pricy as El Torito. The only downers were their flan wasn't that great and their only alcohol is Corona (I'm not a beer drinker). Bright and festive decor, but it gets busy quick, so it's tough to find a seat. I definitely recommend.

Beautifully decorated with bright painted furniture and chairs. Good menu with plenty of options to match the time of day. According to locals is very crowded during peak hours. Inexpensive.

Favorite Dish: Both my partner and I had the "Burrito de pollo con rajas", apparently the most popular item. Was very good with white chicken meat, onions, chile strips, beans, cheese and avacado.

Huge selection of garden pottery and stoneware. Best prices I've seen yet and great service. Worth the trip.

What to buy: Asian garden art
    Garden pottery

What to pay: small buddha statue (20") $40
    small pagoda (20")$40
Pottery 20% off already low prices. usually run specials in LA Times.
