Night Clubs, Sacramento
The K Bar is a relatively new restaurant and bar in downtown Sacramento. It is part of the Paragary group of at least nine restaurants that is owned by three local partners.
It is located at the old Woolworth store site on 10th & K Street. From K Street the restaurant has an exciting look because it opens up right into the street. When I was there on a Wednesday around 3 p.m. the place was busy because I believe Happy Hour was starting.
The bar menu and happy hour menu is somewhat limited but the food is well priced and so are the drinks. Just a nice atmosphere and a very clean appearance. Happy Hour is Daily 3 to 6 pm but on Monday, happy hour prices extend all night.

Faces is technicaly a "gay club" but you will find just about everyone here, gay or straight. There are two different dance floors that play 80's, house or pop music and I believe the cover is around $9. This is one of the most entertaining clubs in the area where you will see gay or straight people along with the occasional drag queen.
Dress Code: Pretty much what ever you want to wear.
HARLOW'S RESTAURANT & NIGHT CLUB
Not to be missed. Wonderful setting for a night out with a loved one or the friends. They usually have fabulous live music as well as great DJs. Check their online schedule for more details. They also have boast a 4star menu and a cigar bar for those that like that.
Dress Code: Semi-formal to formal. We usually get dressed up for this night out. It seems to go with the setting.
This is technically a gay bar, but it is by far the best club is Sac so it has been over-run with straight people and anyone will fit in. There are 10 different bars in the club, something for everyone. The people are incredibly friendly and it is the best place to find an after-party if your desire is to stay up past 2:00am.
Dress Code: Anything goes at Faces and I really mean anything! If you want to wear a pink feather boa and 8 inch gold platform pumps (guys and girls can get away with this :-) ) that will be just as well received as jeans and a t-shirt.
Downtown "hipster" place. Chi chi cocktails, good music, decor (great bar) and friendly bartenders.
Part of the well run Randy Paragary chain.
Dress Code: Don't be sloppy!
