This is and area that the city is trying to revamp, but it looks like it is going slowly. There are a number of vacant retail stores, and just not "spiffy" to walk down the street. Could get panhandled.

Sacramento's Chinatown is very small compared to that of San Francisco or Oakland. But, while visiting downtown, you may want to drop by. It's very attractive, with some good restaurants, and also a quiet, shady place to relax. And it's right downtown.

I had no idea there was a Chinatown in Sacramento. I've been here a dozen times, and it's amazing just how little I know about this city.
