Although no longer able to cruise, the Riverboat Delta King is still a popular attraction. Built in the 20's, it's now been beautifully restored and converted to an upscale hotel that has all the amenities.
You can cruise the Sacramento River on board the "Spirit of Sacramento" or the "Matthew McKinley." These riverboats look like the paddlewheelers that ply America's rivers in the past.
Sightseeing cruises are only $12.50. There are also brunch, lunch, dinner/dance, happy hour, and sunset cruises. Tickets may be purchased online or at the booth at L Street Landing.
This floating hotel offers 44 beautiful staterooms with queen size beds. You have a choice between a river view overlooking the Sacramento River or a city view overlooking historic Old Town.
