I could also pursue one of my other passions in San Bernardino (if it had been during the season) baseball! I think it is neat that the team is named after Route 66! The team is also referred to as the IE 66ers (for Inland Empire). The 66ers are a Class A Team associated with the Angels and are part of the California League. Sometimes I prefer watching a minor league team because the players try harder, since they want to make it to the majors, and the tickets are cheaper. The 2013 season starts 4 April.
Equipment:
Eating a hot dog and maybe a beer or two is part of the experience.
In San Berdino County is a Class A minor league baseball team called the quake. The stadium is just off I-15 in Rancho Cucamonga Rt 66 exit. The stadium has a fantastic view of the mountains if the game gets boring
