Downtown, San Diego
Go to the Gaslamp District if you're into nightlife! Dick's Last Resort is great, and there are tons of other great bars/resturants/clubs in that area. Also make sure you go to the zoo, Balboa Park and go over to Coronado. If you're into shopping, make sure you stop at Horton Plaza. Old Town is also a fun place to spend a day, and if you're into military you can tour the Marine Corps Recruiting Depot (something I haven't done yet!).
Fondest memory: Everything about San Diego is great, I'm having a hard time picking one memory! The nightlife is fun, as are the day time activities.
Visit the GasLamp District. This is a nice old area of San Diego. The buildings are old and the area is downtown.
Fondest memory: I enjoyed just walking around the area and taking things easy. The area is really nice.
The weather, the women and the nightlife. I just can not get enough of any of the three.
Fondest memory: Gas Lamp District
Favorite thing: visit the Horton Plaza, located between Broadway and G Street & 1st and 4th Avenues. 140 stores and restaurants on several levels.
Fondest memory: This place is a beautiful hub of activity. There are restaurants and clubs galore. Go here, you won't regret taking my tip.
Favorite thing: Downtown lacks enormous skyscrapers because the airport is too close. Wouldn't want to get hit by a 747 while trying to get some work done!!
