Favorite thing:
I know, of all the tips to NOT have a photo . . .
Anyways, Travel and Leisure magazine recently (April, 2003) came out with a list of America's best cities in various categories. It came as know surprise to me that San Diego was #1 in the "Good-Looking People" category.
I once spent an entire night just sitting out on the patio of Cafe Sevilla in the Gaslamp District just admiring all of the beauty. Unbelievable!! Next time, I'll bring my camera.
Fondest memory: The people in San Diego are for the most part friendly, outoing and relaxed - especially to someone transplanted from the more taciturn East Coast! Visitors from super-friendly places such as Ireland have told me otherwise, but it's all relative I suppose...
Favorite thing:
vist the San Diego Zoo and Sea World!
Fondest memory:
We attened the wedding of a special former student of mine. I knew here when she was in the seventh and eighth grades in NJ...she was the lead role in my productions of THE KING & I, and OKLAHOMA...what a voice, what personality...A real beautiful person. It was a thrill and honor to have been remembered by her to be invited to her wedding!!
Favorite thing: A feat I have yet to accomplish. But there are so many boats moored around the islands and harbors, surely their owners must be around somewhere.
Fondest memory: Seeing my friends Sean and Debbie together with their two kids Savannah and Holly was the highlight of this trip. Friends like them are more important than any potential VT tips.
