    INSIDE WAL-MART

There are a lot of military families living in and around San Diego. No wonder, Coronado Island is the home of the main and biggest American Naval Base. Many of them were sent to the Middle East just when I was in San Diego.

It seems that many locals support the local military families.
Enlarge my picture to see what I found inside the Wal-Mart supermarket at 710 Dennery Road, San Diego.

    Yellow Ribbons

    YELLOW RIBBON

I noticed yellow ribbons fixed to doors of quite many houses in and around San Diego. What did it mean?

Wearing and otherwise displaying ribbons of various colors is done to remember loved ones far away - yellow ones just for American troops/soldiers sent to the Middle East (Iraq) that time. Am I wrong?
