    Even On A Cloudy Day!

    Fifteen to Fifty!

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Wear sunscreen!

San Diego is noted for it's cloudy mornings, especially during May and June. The weather can be warm enough for a trip to the beach, but the sun doesn't burn through the "marine layer" until noon or one o'clock. This condition tricks you into thinking you don't need sunscreen, but you do! Some of the worst sun burns are gotten during the cloudy mornings.

So, bring your favorite sunscreen. If you forget, you can always buy it here, there are so many to choose from. Wal-Mart has the lowest prices and there are drug stores such as Rite-Aid or CVS that are convenient to buy this sort of thing from, even in grocery stores you'll find the product.

Luggage and bags: Pack extra bags that you can either check on the airplane, or that you will still be able to fit in your trunk. or plan on buying shipping boxes-there's a lot of cool stuff to buy!

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I always pack one pair of comfy walking shoes, a pair of sandals that can get wet and a pair of nice shoes. Just in case you want to go out... I also pack a sweater/light jacket, bathing suit, shorts, pants, sunglasses-no matter what time of year, and sunscreen.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sunsreen is a must. Other than that, i pack the same things I would pack to go anywhere else. And a spray-on leave in UV hair protectant.

Photo Equipment: Any camera will do, just make sure you have plenty of film! Last year I took Kodak Advantix diposable cameras and Kodak disposable Underwater cameras and took great pictures!

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Again, SUNSCREEN and sunglasses.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Bring comfy shoes, I found that one out the hard way! You'll probably do lots of walking. Bring a jacket or sweater, it's cool in the mornings and at night. But bring shorts too.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Bring sunscreen and wear it! I got a burn on my nose and I didn't even think it was all that sunny!

The last pic with Polish glasses hehe

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: There is a lot of sun in San Diego and there is a lot of white/light buildings and houses - so do not forget your sun glasses.
If you lost them - buy next, like me hehe.

If you used to lose them again and again better do not buy expensive ones unless you are Bill Gates or Rockeffeler's son :-).

Quite comfortable (at least for me) glasses costs $10 or so in Wall-Mart (the cheapest $3 or so).

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Not much my friends! Leave your warm woolies at home -- even in winter!! (Of course, in winter you will need long trousers and sweaters of evening -- it can get quite chilly and the temperature drops off very quickly as soon as the sun sets.)

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun block in summer of course.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear light clothes and cover your head with a hat or something. The only place I got sunburned was on my head.

Photo Equipment: I don't think I need a flash any where we went. There was enough light but we were outside under a lot of light.
