If you've been to any Hard Rock Cafe before, you'll find nothing much different here, except that it is located in the heart of the Gaslamp, which means it is a hub of activity.
I can't imagine that there is anyone who hasn't been to at least one Hard Rock Cafe, but if you haven't you might give it a try. Definately an exprience in casural dining. I used to collect their Hurricane glasses, but that was a while ago. If you too are a collector, keep in mind that there are two Hard Rock's here, this one in the Gaslamp Quarter and one in La Jolla. Also, there is one across the border in Tijuana.
The food is good, the prices are reasonable, the service is lively and attentive and you'll never get bored with lack of things to see!
Favorite Dish: My favorite order is, Hamburgers, French Fries and a Coca Cola, of course!
There are other choices on the menu, but the atmosphere at the Hard Rock Cafe lends itself to the memories of the popular rock 'n roll days teens spent in local hamburger joints all across America. So, why not complete the scene?
Very nice staff who even recognizes you if you go more than once! Fast service, the best burgers I've ever eaten in the world and a superdelicious chocolate cake with 5 layers of chocolate, mmmmhhhh, yummy!
Although every Hard Rock Cafe is special due to its decoaration, this one has a beautiful glass winwow over the bar area, just check out he pictures below!
Favorite Dish: You definately ought to try the chocolate cake!!! It's 5 layers of chocolate served with vanilla ice cream. For all chocolate lovers this is a must!
If you are visiting a major city, chances are you'll find a Hard Rock there. While the food isn't special, it is predictable and they are usually in the right spots of town.
The Memorabilia is typically the draw and I like to check them off as I visit a city. I usually prefer to stop in for a drink only.
The San Diego Hard Rock is much the same. The Service was good and the drinks and food were served quickly without hassle.
Favorite Dish: The Smoked BBQ Sandwiches are good and I also like the Onion Rings.
The Hard Rock Cafe' is your typical Hard Rock. But this one is down at the Gaslamp Quater, and you don't need to dress up to go in like at lot of the other resturant. It as you may know is also a bar, a very busy one at that.
Arrive there early so you don't have to wait, and then you can go and visit the other bars and clubs.
We orderd the nachos first, but don't eat it all or you might not have room for you meal.
The drinks where nice and strong. The main course was great. I had the grilled Chicken, and my wife had the chicken fajitas.
So for a good price and good food down at the Gaslamp, go to the Hard Rock.
If your in the GasLamp and looking for something to drink or eat I sugest going to the Hard Rock cafe. What can you say here, it a Hard Rock cafe. Similar to most Hard Rock cafe's. But I really enjoyed it.
