The City of San Diego offers almost any type of restaurant that anyone might want to choose. Fine dining, Family dining, Seafood, Meat, Chicken, Vegetarian, Ethnic of almost every description and many others one might be in the mood for.
Each community of the City of San Diego and town in the County offer great choices.
One thing to notice is that almost every restaurant will have some sort of patio for dining al fresco which we can use almost every day of the year.
About twice a year San Diego hosts, Restaurant Week offering meals, two to three courses, for a reduced price. Check the website for dates and the list of participating restaurants:
Many restaurants offer discount coupons from their own website.
Other ways of cutting cost and still eating well would be to take advantage of any "Happy Hour" and "The Sunset/Early Bird Specials" offered by many restaurants here..
