Yard House: Lotsa Beer!
This was a great place to take a break from shopping at Horton Plaza and have an afternoon appetizer and a few pints of beer. It's directly across the street from Horton Plaza. This place has a huge variety of beers! They had all the TVs on sports channels, so I'm assuming that's normal. The most impressive sight is going downstairs to the restrooms and seeing all the kegs behind a glass wall. Typical bar fare-sandwiches, burgers.

Yard House: The Yard House
We LOVED this place. It was fantastic value for money and they're right about the beer, an amazing range. Gary loves Smithwicks (an Irish ale) but outside of Europe and a couple of bars on the East Coast, he could never find it in California.... but his search ended right here. Now if he wants a Smithwicks, he knows where to go!
I got asked for ID even though I'm 2*cough*8 ... totally made my day! :-)
Favorite Dish: I could have eaten anything off the menu, it all looked so good! I had Macaroni & Cheese, it was great comfort food with chunky bacon and chicken pieces. Yum :-D

The Yard House: Beer, Music and great food
They had many, many beers on tap. More than anyplace I'd ever seen. I had a Blue Moon beer and they served it with an orange garnish. I will never drink it again without one. They have great music playing-classic rock-a bit loud so if you are looking for a place to have great conversation, this isn't it. Food was great and very reasonably priced.
Favorite Dish: Ahi Tuna salad was superb. Tuna was seared and served rare. It was delightful!

Yard House: Get a Yard of Beer!
Yard House is named for its extremely large glasses in which you place your beer. They measure exactly one yard, which makes for an enjoyable beer.
Although I did not have one, they had as many beers as you could imagine in a US location, and a really global selection.
As for food, I had a wonderful thai chicken dish... which was delicious... in a different location, I also had the shrimp caesar salad which was also very good.
