My friends liked this museum alot more but they love cars old and new. I was impressed with the exhibit of antique cars. They had some unusual ones also. They also had motorcycles. This is definitely for the car lovers.
Located in Balboa Park near the AeroSpace Museum, the Automotive Museum is a great museum to visit.
The museum houses an outstanding collection of cars including a Tucker and many rare BMW Vehicles. There is also a large Motorcycle Collection housed here.
There is a large gift shop with a wide variety of automotive memorabilia for sale.
I would expect to spend about an hour and a half to two hours total if you are taking your time.
This small museum in Balboa Park is dedicated to the history of the auto and motorcycle. When I was there they had a temporary exhibt on the mustang.
