Black's Beach, San Diego
Black's Beach is one of the many beaches of San Diego California. Although part of it is property of the city, the other parts are in the zone of the state park, and are tolerating nudity. It is believed to be the largest nude beach in the United States.
Although its waters are very dangerous due to the large waves, surfers still find it the best beach to surf on in Southern California.
Black's Beach is a two mile long, sandy strip situated at the base of majestic cliffs up to 300 feet high. It's famous for its' northern parts where clothing is optional. Water activity is essentially unregulated, and especially the southern end of the beach is very popular among the surfers. In addition to water sports, Black's beach gives you the opportunity to try hang gliding, paragliding and remote controlled gliders. The impressing cliffs of Black's Beach are not only a plus though as they make it a bit tricky to access the beach. The safest and easiest way to reach the Black's beach is to park at the Torrey Pines State Beach or Reserve lots and then walk south along the shoreline, but this path can sometimes be impractical due to high tides or surf blocking your way.
