 | San Diego By Trolley Reviews | Tips 31 - 40 of 43 | | On my 2nd day in San Diego I decided to leave my car parked at the hotel and get around using San Diego's public transportation. Fares are calculated based on the number of stops you go and I figured I would be riding it at least 3 times so I bought a 1 day pass for $5 which was also good on the buses I used in Coronado. You can purchase a ticket or day pass from a machine at the trolley station, the trolley was really easy to figure out, just figure out which color line your station is on and see which direction the trolley is going in, there are only three lines, the orange, the blue and the green. ~ The San Diego Trolley is a great way to get around. The trolley travels quickly, reliably, and safely to destinations around San Diego. Whether you are a commuter, tourist, or just want a no-hassle way to get around, the trolley can whisk you to the international border, Center City, Mission Valley, or Fashion Valley shopping, harbor and historic attractions, restaurants, Old Town and Qualcomm Stadium with other stops along the way. The photos on this tip were taken at San Ysidro US/Mexico border crossing .... Leave a Comment Theme: Subway/MetroWebsite: http://www.sdcommute.com/agencies/MTS/sdti
