Favorite thing:
Walk around the FISHERMAN'S WHARF AREA.
Fondest memory:
Our coach just dropped us off for a few hours and said to meet back in like 4 hours...Okay, so we obviously got a little bored and decided to have some fun being silly and stupid. In one of the shops, we all tried on these funky sunglasses and made the shop owner take our picture...I will always remember Kyle and Colleen, pictured here with me, and the great fun we had that last year of rowing.
Favorite thing:
Try the clam chowder soup at Fisherman Wharf. Bring a wind breaker along because it get cold near the fisherman wharf. If you drive, it is expensive but some restaurant give discount for carpark. Approximately $20 per day for car park.
Fondest memory:
Looking for magnets for gifts. There are plenty to choose from and you might get lucky to find gift that are unique and interesting.
Favorite thing: of course, visit Fisherman's Wharf! This is an area in San Francisco that is just filled with activity. There's the famous Pier 39 and Ghirardelli Square as well as the USS Pampanito docked nearby. On the streets around this area, you'll see souvenir shops and you'll probably bump into a Wax Museum and the Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Along Jefferson street, you'll see the fish merchants busy at work.
Favorite thing:
I would like to recommend the Fishermen Wharf, It is so relaxing to sit their, watching sealions lying on the wharf and enjoying sunshine, at the same time you can enjoy various of seafood, such as king size crab, shrimps and clams etc.. After meals, you may walk along the piers and do some shopping in those hundredsof shops, every people there is so friendly that you will not feel any typical salesman there, all you have to do is to enjoy the environment, food, scence, street amusement and the cost is very reasonable.
