    The streets of San Francisco

by pmarshuk Written Mar 16, 2003

Favorite thing: San Francisco is a great town to walk around but it can be quite an effort with all the hills. But the hills do give gret vantage points for fantastic iews of the city.

Favorite thing: Intersection of Columbus Avenue and Montgomery and Washington. Columbus Ave. is one of the only streets in downtown that runs diagonally to the north-south/east-west grid of streets.

Favorite thing: just wander around. I just love to do that in San Francisco. All the streets are so nice and pretty. At the far end of this street is tha famous windy zig-zag road.

Favorite thing: Go to the coastal avenue, stop to see the free street located musicians by everywhere, take a cable-rail tranvia, see interesting typical buildings.
