Favorite thing: See the views. Either walk, if you're ready to brave the hills (they're steeper than you might think), or take a cable car. It doesn't matter how you do it but get up those hills and see the views. They are truly amazing! (Especially as the sun is setting)
Favorite thing:
Simply walk through the city to get mesmerized by its incredible beauty.
Fondest memory:
I have spent my summer vacation in San Francisco six years in a row and I have always enjoyed it immensely. All I can say is: If you have the opportunity to go there, don't miss it! You won't regret it! As someone once said 'Everybody should be allowed to love two cities: San Francisco and his/her hometown'(I would like to add that everybody should be allowed to visit SF at least once in his/her life). There are innumerable places to see and enjoy in this GORGEOUS city. It is a feast for the eyes and for the souls. Also, I would like to TALK TO PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN SF in order to know their unbiased opinion on their city.
P.S. I haven't been hired by Mayor Willie Brown to attract tourists from around the world.
Favorite thing:
My husband and I love justing walking around the city and venturing off on to side streets. There are so many beautiful neighborhoods and Union Square is fun for shopping.
Fondest memory:
I can't quite describe it but I love this place!
Favorite thing:
My husband and I travelled to San Francisco a couple of years ago and really enjoyed the atmosphere and vibrance of the city, but most of all the walks up and down those hills! It really makes a lot of sense to leave your car at the hotel and buy a bus pass (we purchased the 3-day one) and used it on cable cars and buses to get around the town - perfect! Fondest memory:
My fondest memory of San Francisco is how beautiful the sunsets are. It gets chilly at night by the water, so just make sure to bundle up ... it's well worth the sight!
Favorite thing: The street art I've found in my wanderings has never failed to amuse me. After all, it's all in the details, right?
