Cafe Du Nord: Cafe Du Nord
A great downstairs club. On Saturday nights their house band Lavay Smith & Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers rocks the house with some good old big band/swing style music. There's a full bar and a pool table in addition to the dance floor. I think there's a cover starting around 8 or 9 (call ahead) or you can avoid it by showing up early for dinner or drinks.

Pat O' Shea's Mad Hatter: Pat O' Shea's Mad Hatter
Great pub with a good selection of beers on tap. Fairly decent selection of scotch. A casual, fun atmosphere where they play live music from local bands on any given weekend night. People are not pretentious and just out to have a great time! Everyone here is friendly, not just the employees, but the patrons as well!

Live Music: The Filmore
Great place to see a concert! I saw the Violent Femmes there back in 2000....they were excellent!
Cool, historic theatre, everybody that's anybody has preformed at the Filmore at least once...
