Comfortable Shoes, San Francisco

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Wear comfortable walking shoes and a warm sweater or jacket. San Francisco can be chilly when the fog rolls in--even in summer when L.A. will be swealtering in the heat. Mark Twain said the coldest winter he ever recalls was a summer in San Franciso. He was joking, but you understand what he meant when you walk through the hills or a breeze and fog roll in from the bay.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The weather can change from one minute to the next. Warm clothing advisable if you take a cruise. If you intend walking take a strong pair of shoes. Don't forget that San Francisco is very hilly

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you venture down to the 'Stinking Rose' Restaurant - make sure you have a good supply of breath freshener

Luggage and bags: Taking a daypack is desirable for convenience in daytrip exploring, shopping, etc.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Invest in a comfy pair/pairs of walking shoes. Pack your hiking boots if you're ambitious enough to tackle Mt. Tam, Muir Woods, or Marin Headlands. Always, pack a multi-use jacket...it gets chilly here at night and cloaks you in that romantic fog.
