McCormick and Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant: Seafood and a View
One of my favorite places to have lunch is McKormick and Kuletos at Ghiradelli Square. The restaurant is sublimely comfortable, with plush booths, white table cloths, excellent seafood choices, a nice wine list by the glass, and fantastic views. The Bayside wall is all windows and the view of Alcatraz and the Bay is unbeatable. Just below the restaurant is Aquatic Park and it's a rare occasion you won't see someone swimming in the freezing cold waters of the Bay.
Favorite Dish: Excellent SF sourdough is included with your meal. I have had many things on M & K's menu but I always start my meal with the mixed salad with gorgonzola and walnuts. I also love some of the seafood pasta dishes. The crab cakes are very good.
McCormick and Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant: Great seafood
Great seafood restaurant with a view overlooking both Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge.
Favorite Dish: The Oyster sampler is great as you get the taste of 6 different types of oyster.
The Swordfish is done to perfection with the mustard mash.
If the Blackened Catfish is on, go for it!
McCormick and Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant: Seafood Galore
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the entire City (and I have many favorites). The food is simply delicious. You can find everything from Petrale Sole (my usual) to Mahi Mahi to glazed pork chops to the all time family favorite cheeseburger and fries. It's all good and served by friendly, efficient wait staff.
The view for all you tourists and locals alike is
incredible. A view of the bay with alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance, especially at dusk is breathtaking.
It's very roomy, conducive to both families, romantic dinners and parties as well.
I've also never seen such an extensive wine list. For you wine lovers out there it's a must. Also, if you love desserts, there's everything from tiramisu to raspberry cheesscake and the delectable "Chocolate Bag" which is a must if you're a chocolate lover. However it's enough for 4 people.
Believe me you can't go wrong here. You'll love it.
Favorite Dish: The petrale sole is my favorite dish and I have it all the time. At least once a week.
