Victorian Houses - Architectural Heritage
If you love Victorian houses, Alamo Square is the best place to find the Victorian Houses. There are so many beatiful houses with different Victorian styles and color.
Okay, if the Golden Gate Bridge is the most photographed image in San Francisco, this has to be second. This famous row of Victorian houses at Alamo Square is also known as the "Painted Ladies."
These Victorian Houses are a symbol of San Franciscan architecture. On giving us this tour, I remember Uncle Dick saying that if you want a house here, "Open your wallet...wide."
you can find the painted ladies on the postcards here but i saw other painted ladies in the area who looked nicer.
