This beautiful lake lies in the heart of Golden Gate Park. Hike up the nearby Strawberry Hill from some good views of the city and the Golden Gate.

Golden Gate Park has 1,000 acres, including this beautiful arboretum. A great place for a stroll; it takes hours to get from one end to the other.

This park is beautifull. It's big enough for you to walk yourself a nice pair of blisters under your feet (I know by experience!), but know that you can rest on a one of the fences in the park...

These gardens are pretty big and inside Golden Gate Park. The Botanical Gardens are right across from the Japanese Tea Garden, near Shakespeare Garden. Lots of squirrels! The lakes even have turtles.

This is Stow Lake at the Golden Gate Park. It is nice to walk around there. It is just amazing that there is such a big park in the middle of this city.
