Chill out at Italian North Beach (my favorite place to hang out!).
Enjoy sipping a delicious cuppa coffee in a romantic outdoor cafe and munch on a delicious pastry.... Or how about indulging in a sinful pasta meal with some lovely wine..... Or you can also choose to do absolutely nothing.... but just people-watch.... Or you can dive in and join 'em - like what I did!!
See? You really don't need an excuse or an agenda in order to come here. Can you spot the famed Coit Tower in the far distance (pictured below)?
Visit the North End, San Francisco's 'Little Italy'
I have an interesting story about the North End that's not really kosher. If you ask nicely, I might tell you. Otherwise, suffice to say, that the North End was the home to the beatniks and their friends back in the 50's. Can you dig it?
North Beach rocks. At night. Cool clubs. Jazz mostly. Pearl's is good. If you're a smoker, better bring nicotine patches. No smoking in all bars. Not even cigars are allowed!
After walking around North Beach, take a break in Washington Square. Me and Manoj took a little nap here, and it was a nice place to hang out.
