It is the Home of the 2010 World Series Champs!!!!!!! AT & T Park is located in the China Basin section of San Francisco, a short distance from downtown and Fisherman's Wharf. The name may be different but game remains the same. Formerly Pac Bell Park and SBC Park, AT&T Park is the first privately financed ballpark in Major League Baseball since Dodger Stadium (1962), the Giants' new home features an inspiring nine-foot statue of America's greatest living ballplayer, Willie Mays, at the public entrance; home runs that splash into McCovey Cove (named after another Hall of Fame Willie), what no Memorial yet for the now departed Barry "Roid Rage" Bonds?
The stadium contains 68 luxury suites, 5,200 club seats on the club level and an additional 1,500 club seats at the field level behind home plate. It has three levels of seating - field, club, and upper deck, but actually has 4 distinct concourses. The main concourse (mezzanine) is located at the top of the first level of seating. Here is where you will find the majority of the concession stands. This area is a great spot for people to stroll through or hang out at during the game. Probably the biggest problem with the park is something that nobody can control - the weather. It gets very cool here most nights, but fans seems to come prepared with winter coats and gloves.

Both the San Francisco Giants and The Oakland A's play in the SF vicinity. Both stadiums are accessible via the BART. During baseball season (March to September) the home teams usually have at least one home game a week so chances are you will be able to catch at least one game.
Tickets range from $10 to $50 so there is a seat for all levels of baseball fans.

How many times can a ballpark change its name? If you're referring to the SF Giants stadium, how about three names in six years. Originally Pacific Bell Park, but when Pac Bell was bought by SBC, it became SBC Park. Now that SBC purchased AT&T and plans to change the company name to AT&T, guess what? That stadium also changed its name to AT&T.
Nonetheless, this is a beautiful ballpark built along the bay built entirely with private funding. There is a waterfront promenade in the outfield from which fans can legally watch the game for no charge.
AT&T Park hosted the 2007 Major League Baseball All Star Game.
The park is accessible via BART (with a short walk), ferry, CalTrain, streetcars, and buses.

Catch a game at AT&T Park (formerly Pac Bell Park, formerly SBC Park). It is one of the most beautiful places to watch a ball game. Watch Barry Bonds launch a "splash hit". Be sure to try the famous Garlic Fries.

First of all, be sure you bring a jacket or sweatshirt, as it can be cold even during a day game in the middle of the summer. Catch a baseball game if you have a few extra hours while you're in San Francisco. The SF Giants play in one of the nicest ballparks in all of baseball, and this should not be missed if you're a sports fan. I definitely recommend trying some of the delicious garlic fries they have at the game.

I was at the Giants' Stadium for an event called Icer Air as my host is a huge snowboarding fan. What I noticed about the stadium though was the sun sets on the ocean behind it. As an East Coast girl it amazed me to see the sun set ON the ocean. This particular trip saw us getting drunk on beer and chatting up the people in front of and behind us. Though I think a father removed his 8 year old son from our section because we were so rowdy.

PacBell Park (locals don't like the constant name changes! Currently, it is formally known as AT&T Park) has been called one of the best baseball parks in the US, if not the best. It is a beautiful park, with gorgeous views of the San Francisco Bay. There is also a gigantic fiberglass glove and enormous Coca Cola Bottle which is especially attractive for kids! Facilities are excellent as each seat was designed so that the fan could see the game well even if he was sitting in the nosebleed seats. On most days, you will see fans out on their kayaks on the Bay, hoping to catch a home run ball! The entire game experience at PacBell/AT&T Park is extremely fun and relaxing. Don't miss the fabulous garlic fries!! The only downside is that ticket prices are on the higher end compared to other baseball parks in the US.

Since the names of our sports venues seem to continually change... I will leave the baseball stadium unnamed. Nevertheless, it is a really fun way to spend a few hours. Remember to bring a jacket, because it can get cold even if it is a sunny day.
Ticket prices run from $10 to $72 for Mon-Thurs games, and $12 to $77 for Fri- Sunday games.

MoMo's is a restaurant/bar right across from the stadium, where everyone goes before or after the game for a drink or two. The outside patio gets packed. But don't get too carried away, make sure you don't miss the game....
