    Luna's Mexican Restaurant: Terrible Service!

by Yaqui Updated Aug 11, 2013

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

We were recommended to eat here by the nice gentleman who is life long volunteer at the mission. I was suffering from possible heatstroke and was needing water right away and the very young male waiter didn't seem it was important to get us water right away, because he took his sweet time. Strike 1. Then they took forever to take our order. Strike 2. The food was ok, not spectacular. They never asked us how we were doing once. Stike 3. Then it took them 15 minutes to get us our check. We will never go back there again!

Newport Seafood Tan Cang is one of the more popular Chinese Seafood Restaurants along the great mall of China Row in San Gabriel and is a favorite of Los Angelenos Locals who want to partake of fresh, hot of the aquarium seafoods galore of Chinese and Asian Seafood Dishes, they have an extensive selction of Seafood, meat and veggie dishes and on the authentic variety where vegetables are not only garnishings like the Chinese-American Variety. the place is always packed and there is a long waiting time for lunch and dinner and they have assorted aquarium tanks filled with an assorted variety of live seafood of which you just point what you want and they will cook it for you, it never goes fresher than that and with the high price to boot! as since the seafood are alive, it costs about $ 80 and above per person to partake a good seafood meal.
