Ok, there is a sister restaurant in clese by subburb Campbell which is much nice. That being said- this place is in a ugly part of town and is not much prettier itself.
In fact, this is a whole in the wall with great food. Mostly Cambodian food with some Thai and Vietnamese overtones. Both places owned and operated by one very nice family. The food is outstanding. Oh, the SJ location has limited hours, so be sure to check.
The Campbell location is just down Bascom from central SJ.
Favorite Dish: The meat sticks, the red curry noodles with chicken, the stews, the spring rolls, the green beans and of course the amok!
So good, so different, very authentic.
Beyond description, but so good you forget
what a nasty part of town your in. More industrial than scary, but I wouldn't venture at night.

With two locations in the San Jose area this is the best Cambodian restaurant that I've been to. Actually it's the only one that I've been to. Very friendly service and great food. If you're not familiar with Cambodian cuisine I compare it to a mix of Chinese and Thai food.
Favorite Dish: Cha Khney Moin (Ginger Chicken), Samlaw Curry Moin (Chicken Curry) and Tom Yam Kai (Chicken Hot and Sour Soup)
