Just by San Pedro Square is the Spaghetti Factory, part of a chain of restaurants in the US. This place give fantastic value for money and very eatable meals. The meatballs we had a sometimes were massive servings and very tasty. That's the main dish I remember but there must have been others because we came here quite a few times.
Favorite Dish: Comboof meatballs and spghetti bolognaise

The Old Spaghetti Factory is a nation-wide chain, with a location in the middle of San Pedro Square, the historical heart and now a new people hotspot for downtown San Jose. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is great! One way to get inside is by walking through a small alley that looks like something straight from Italy. One inside, you're greeted by an enormous, eclectic building complete with old black and white photographs, Victorian chairs and sofas, 19th century lampshades, and even a half-century old street car, where people can sit and have dinner in.
Favorite Dish: The Chicken Parmagania is excellent. To tell you the truth, much of the food here is great, and affordable!

This is a chain restaurant. It is great for families, as it provides a full meal at a great price. For adults who drink... don't miss the Long Island Iced Teas from the bar.
