Basically a tourist trap on the Ocean. Still is has a few restaurants, a small aquarium and many tourist shops.
It's pretty congested around the pier so you may want to park in one of the nearby lots instead of on the pier. There is plenty of ample parking close by.
Built in 1872 to serve cargo and passenger ships, the wharf is now a landmark in Santa Barbara.
You can drive and park on the pier and there are restaurants, shops and a museum towards the end.
View of the beach from Stearns Wharf. The very end of the pier is left open for fishermen. And on a clear day you can see the Channel Islands. Different boat excursions also start at the pier.
