    * Must Obey Lifeguards' Direction

    * No Dressing or Undressing

    * All Trash Must be Places in Trash Cans

    * No Alcoholic Beverages

    * No Glass Containers

    * No Drums or Percussion Instruments

    * No Playing of Audio or Electronic Devices After 10 PM or Before 8 AM

    Liev Shreiber after Spirit Awards,Santa Monica

    Fondest memory: You never know when you'll spot a celebrity! I happened to be in Santa Monica (26 Feb) during festivities of the Independent Spirit Awards, which it hosts yearly. It's hard to see him clearly but I happened to get a side shot of the actor, Liev Shreiber (on the right)! Quite handsome he looked but he was definitely in a rush. The Spirit Awards are held usually the day before the Oscars. Make it a point to come to Santa Monica in late winter to do some celeb hunting!

    Favorite thing: Take surfing lessons if possible. Talk to the concierge of your hotel for local experts that give them. Kristine had always wanted to learn to surf, and this was an excellent experience for her.

    Fondest memory: I very much enjoyed sitting on the veranda at the Lowes Santa Monica Resort, playing cards, and sipping tall drinks! The veranda faced the beach, and you could watch the waves, or all of the colorful people pass by.

    Favorite thing: Drive up PCH, away from the crowds along Ocean and the Santa Monica Pier area. About 1 mile away from the Pier, you will find nicer beaches with a lot less people! Will Rogers State Beach is one that isn't too far off that is fairly decent.

    Fondest memory: Going to a Christmas party at the Santa Monica Jonathon Club and dancing the night away in front of a gorgeous Christmas tree, bejewelled with lights and other glimmering things.
