Crescent Meadow is a lovely area that you can walk around in a 1.8 mile loop that picks up 190 feet. Though you are walking in the forest, it circles a nice lush open area that is great for spotting wildflowers in season and wildlife if lucky.
Crescent Meadow is a great family hike. It is an easy loop trail that can be completed by hikers of all skill levels... including children. It is one of the most beautiful meadows in the park. Be sure to look careully while you walk this trail as I often see deer, and every once in a while small black bear can be sen in the meadow. In the early Summer, the wildflowers in Crescent Meadow are spectacular.
