Hospital Rock, Sequoia National Park
Hospital Rock is located just outside the entrance to Buckeye Flat campground on the southern end of Generals Highway. There's a small picnic area here, and plenty of parking, then you can cross the highway to view the rock. Here, you can see the drawings (pictographs) believed to have been left by the Monache Indians. There's a small staircase along side the rock to let you in for a closer look. Perhaps not the most exciting thing to see in the park, but it is there if you are interested.
This Rock by the southern entrance contains Native American Petroglyphs along with fantastic views of Moro Rock towering above
A short easy trail to the Kaweah river. It's just past the visitors center and offers very nice scenery. It's a nice trail to start your day with and stretch your feet.
