It may look like fun, but it is work. The "Surrey Cycle" is a wild ride that someone has to pedal and someone can fake it. The two-seater is enough for me. Well, it is fun and in Solvang the traffic is slow, so the bike ride is fast. What the best part is, is the great slowmotion view of the town. You still would have to come back if you saw something you wanted to visit, as the surrey would have park and that is hard to find. Something to do to get the old adrenaline flowing so you can work up an appetite to try on the aebleskivers at Arne's.
Equipment: Two person or four person Surrey Cycles are available, as well as regular bikes are available to rent by the hour.
The River Course which is part of the Alisal Guest Ranch was built in 1992. This is an 18 hole course with amazing views of the Santa Ynez mountains. The River Grill is their onsite restaurant which has great food and the same extraordinary views.
7000 yards and par 72...whatever that means but Rob was excited to see the golf course there since thats his new hobby. I am not a golfer but I have to saw it looked pretty.
It was also the sight of the PGA Tour qualifying finals.
