This is one of those traps that you don't mind being caught up in. Shop and eat your way through this quaint Danish style town.
Check out the wine tasting rooms, spas, museum and there's a nice park to relax or people watch in the center of town.

I just went to Solvang last week and I have to say, after having to pay $8.00 for a BLT, that the whole town is a tourist trap. Allot of the old places are shutting down and are being replaced by wine tasting rooms.

Antique shops are abound here in Solvang. Do not get me wrong.. they do have some lovley antiques but they were over priced and not rare items.
Unique Suggestions: Make sure you want to spend that money and it is not just an impulse buy.
Fun Alternatives: Wait until you get home and then decide if it was what you wanted. Most shops will let you purchase by mail and will ship it to you.
