    Gotta See It Once!

The Gondola ride lasts 2.4 miles up the mountain. First stop is the Observation Deck. Make sure you don't forget your camera! The views of Lake Tahoe, the Desolation Wilderness and the Carson Valley are incredible! After relaxing and taking lots of pictures, it’s on to Adventure Peak at 9,100 feet. There are plenty of activities up here. They got the Spider Climber, a climbing wall, hiking trails, Adventure Peak Grill and, of course, the Heavenly Flyer ZipRider!

The weather was perfect when we went in early August 2009. No wind whatsoever. Gotta take this ride once if you're in Lake Tahoe. The views are magnificent! It gets old and boring though by the 2nd or 3rd or more visit. It gets expensive if you have a big family. The ticket was $30 USD per person when we went. Bring water if you're planing to hike up here. There are plenty of hiking trails.
