Chambers Landing is charming by daylight, with flowers decorating the mostly al fresco restaurant, overlooking Lake Tahoe. When the sun goes down and the lights go on it becomes fairly magical.
We had a front row table with a fantastic view of the sun settiing on the Lake. Service is attentive but not suffocating. Our dining experience was about 3 1/2 hours, so we were never rushed.
Favorite Dish: The menu is not huge and one might be tempted to order a couple of selections off the appetizer menu. Our party all had the mixed green salad, which was delicious with the herb bread and eggplant spread (so good!). I had the grilled seabass. It was good but the "mediterranean salsa" was barely in evidence. My daughter ordered the appetizer of scallops and mushrooms but would have liked more than 2 scallops, as good as they were.
Upon leaving the restaurant we were treated to an amazing star show. You don't see so many stars in the City!
