    Snow Skiing at Heavenly! They have something for all abilities. The intermediate lessons were very good. The Gondola station is 1/2 block from the Embassy.

    Take a cruse along Highway 1 and 101 and get some brilliant views and sunsets.
    In february you might be able to see some Whales.

    In Big Sur you can view some of California's beautiful coastline. The hills overlooking the ocean are covered with Redwood trees. Many of the trees have been around for hundreds of years!

    There are many places in California, that I hope to see. Starting from the south, working my way up the coast. I would love to visit the National Parks, Wilderness, Deserts, as well as most of the Cities along the Coast. :-)

    LA's Downtown area is pretty much a concrete jungle settled in amongst freeways and the Los Angeles river. There are plenty of attractions to see like the LA Children's Museum, the Civic Centre and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

    Half Dome framed by burnt trees. Forest fires caused havoc earlier this summer, and this highlights the fragile environment, and the problems caused by mass tourism. Take care to treasure sights like this for future generations.
