For a foothill restaurant in a very small community, Serrano's was an upside surprise. Even on a November evening, it was still warm enough to side outside on the patio. Menu is extensive, portions are generous (huge), food, salsa, and service were reasonably good.
Favorite Dish: I do not have a favorite dish there.
Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, The Gateway Restaurant and Lodge is just a minute away from Sequoia National Park. Our proximity to the part, comfortable lodging, fine dining, and full service cocktail lounge make us the number one choice for your visit to the Giant Sequoias.
Enjoy a spectacular view of the merging of the Middle and East Forks of the Kaweah River under the historic Pumpkin Hollow Bridge built in 1922. The surrounding mountains support a vast sampling of the native flora and fauna. There are walking trails nearby offering a panoramic vista of the entire canyon.
