Have eaten here several times now and the quality of this small cafe is uniformily good. The service is quick and friednly. I have had several omelettes and the eggs benedict. Order the fresh fruit iinstead of toast or hash browns. The eggs benedict is always prepared well and such that is practically melts in your mouth. The coffee is always good as well. Outside seating except for cold weather is a nust because of the great views. Prices are a little high even by Marin standards.
Favorite Dish: Eggs benedict, fresh orange juice and coffee

Ro introduced me to this place as I went here in Feb '06 with her, Janet, Anna, Steve, Randy, and Randy's buddy. Fantastic view of downtown SF from the dock seating. Great place to eat brunch and down some bloody marys. I had to come back here in Aug '06 for good times sake. It seems like this may become a regular spot during future trips to the area.
Favorite Dish: seafood

Sam's Anchor Cafe is a great seafood spot on the water. Sam's even has a place you can park your own boat, if arriving from the water.
Sam's is open for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. It gets crowded fast so reservations are a must.
Favorite Dish: My favorite way to enjoy Sam's is Sunday Brunch. Check out the Menu and tell me if anything suits your fancy.

Guymas is an expensive way to enjoy that new cuisine kind of Mexican food. No tacos and burritos here. Instead of the basket of chips you will receive a plate of fresh warm corn totillas (that admittedly don't stay warm very long) and a platter of three salsas. Of course, the variety of margaritas are served.
The best thing about Guymas is its location and its view. Situated on the north end of the Bay the view of San Francisco is fantastic.
Favorite Dish: I took a chance on the Chiles Poblano which promised two chicken stuffed chilis with a walnut sauce and pomegranite seeds. The chicken seemed to be ground and the sauce was too sweet for my taste. My dining partner said they looked like a pair of lungs.
My dining partner had a great tortilla soup and ensalada marisco. I wish I had chosen that. The salad had plump shrimp, calamari and avocado. Yum.
Our meal, without alcohol was $60. Pricey Mexican with no margaritas.

Since 1920 , Sam's Anchor Cafe has been a favorite waterfront restaurant on situated on San Francisco Bay/ Located in Marin County (in the quaint historical township of Tiburon), Sam's has been famous for their American and seafood cuisine, fun atmosphere and awesome views of Angel Island, Alcatraz and the San Francisco skyline.
Favorite Dish: I had the Sesame Crust Mahi Mahi (flavorful seafood in a soy glaze and hot chile sauce with wasabi mashed potatoes and cucumber red onion salad).
