These restaurants are awesome. There is one in Vegas and we enjoyed the food, decore and the service. Buca di Beppo is an authentic Italian restaurant that offers flavorful Italian dining for family and friends while keeping the Italian traditions of food, friendship and hospitality. In the spirit of Italian culture, the dishes are served family style and are meant to be shared. So if you are hungry, you'll love this place.
Favorite Dish: Love the meatballs..yum.

First off, this has to be the furthest restaurant from the entrance to City Walk. However, it is worth it...somewhat...if you like loud music blasting in your ear preventing you from being able to communicate with the rest in your party.
The food is good and service great. The gift shop has unique Hard Rock memoribilia.
It is extremely crowded and not that handicapped friendly. If you are wanting to experience Hard Rock Cafe, go for it, if it doesn't matter, look elsewhere.

Another [place you can stop for great food and a great atmosphere is the Hard Rock Cafe Hollywood here at Universal City Walk. Just look for the 78 foot tall neon Fender Stratocaster. There are guitars all over the place. The chandeliers consist of saxophones. There is a burnt orange 57 Cadillac rotating over the main bar. Good food, great decor, good service, live bands, what more do you need? Open 11 AM to 12 AM Sunday through Thursday and 11 AM to 1 AM Friday and Saturday.
Favorite Dish: Everything is very good.

Camacho's Cantina is easy to find just look for the big bronze caballero and the big wooden doors. Decor is better than your typical Mexican Restaurant, with lots of wood and dim lighting. The menu includes a wide variety of Mexican food all of which seems to be well prepared. Definitely worth a stop. Camacho's is open from 11 AM to 11 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11 AM to 12 AM Friday and Saturday. Save money on drinks (like their great Margaritas during happy hour, Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM.
Favorite Dish: Try the quesadillas, and the steak fajitas, with peppers and caramelized onions. Great Margaritas. If you want to skip the alcohol try the cinnamon horchata.

If you like seafood, you have to stop at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company. They have about every type of shrimp mentioned in the movie, plus some. The decor has lots of heavy wood and memorabilia from the movie and the south. There are license tags on each table (see photo) that say Run, Forrest Run (if you don't need anything) and Stop, Forrest Stop (if you need the waiter/waitress. Service was very responsive.
Favorite Dish: I had one of the shrimp variety plates and it was fantastic. Later we stopped back and I had one of their mixed drinks in a keepsake glass. I will not fail to stop here again if I am near one. Open daily at 11 AM.

The Miceli family started with a restaurant on Hollywood Boulevard in 1949. They expanded and opened another one in Universal City in 1980. Miceli's on the inside is full of dark wood, comfortable seating and murals of Italian street scenes. There is a piano and a drum set in the center of the restaurant, and your waiter or waitress is likely to get up and sing. The songs range from older pop songs like "I Can't Stop Loving You" to selections from Puccini.
Favorite Dish: I had some very good veal parmagiana with spagetti.

We stopped here so the boys could have desert and they really enjoy it, yet I thought the prices was outragous, yet I can appreciate what it must cost for a business to rent a spot along the trendy Citywalk. With that said, its cool!

Louie's Pizza & Pasta is supposely known for their authentic Italian cuisine and recipes passed down from the Coppelo family of Italy. Neat pictures on the walls of all Italian actors over the years. They had these huge 20' pizzas that many of the young folk were putting their money together to get. As it turns out the table next to us had actual Italian students who couldn't finish and offer some to my sons. Ha, the bottomless pits they are, they gobbled the rest up. I was happy because I didn't have to pay for seconds...Yay! I had the Lasagna and it was pretty good. It's pricey, but so is everything in the park. At least I felt I wasn't eating junk food!

I think we went to this 60's look-a-like restaurant in the park itself. They served 'OKIE' food, like usual, theme parks don't have that much of good food. But, it's good enough to fill up your empty and hungry stomach after all the rides and excitement.
Like usual, parks like these offer OK food for a wee bit higher price, and worse of all, you can't bring in your own food hehe Drinks too cost a fortune in there.
Favorite Dish: Fries + ketchup
