This is still one of my favorite souvenirs shoppes in the park. It looks like a old movie theatre with its wonderful decorative movie fasade out front. It is directly across the 50's Dinner Cafe. It usually has one of the collection of movies cars parked either out front of it. This one was the Blues Brothers movie car. Lots of wonderful gifts in here that all relate to the movie era.
If your a baseball fan, then you're going to love this place. Filled with all types of memorabilia. An official store of the LA Dodgers and features team apparel, gifts, novelties and memorabilia. You can even purchase Dodgers tickets and frequently hosts autograph sessions with current and retired players.
How do I begin to decribe the world's greatest sock store!? This specialty shop located at the Universal CityWalk has the most amazing selection of hosiery I have ever seen! From children's cotton tights to women's printed knee highs to men's argyle dress socks, I kid you not when I say this shop has it all! There is something for everybody, even the "hard to shop for" people on your list. And they even sell over the knee socks that are so hard to find in the US! I absolutely love their section of fishnet and textured tights! Calling it unique would be an understatement. They are in step with fashion trends like leggings and leg warmers. Though catering mostly to hosiery, they also carry some funky shoe laces, gloves, scarves, and the best insoles I have ever used. Word on the street is that Paris Hilton and Jennifer Love Hewitt are fans of the store as well! It's small staff is very helpful and extremely friendly, making your shopping experience fun and personal. When you visit Universal Studios, don't pass this store up!
What to buy:
You could spend hours perusing the socks with wild animals, sports, hobbies, skulls, rainbows, martinis, cartoon characters, NFL/MLB/NHL/NBA teams, airplanes, super heros, hand gestures, flowers, animal prints, Marilynn Monroe, flames, polka dots, music notes, piano keys, guitars, Hannah Montana, mismatched, "old school", Hollywood themed, argyle print... the list goes on and on!
What to pay:
Average price is about $7.50... some more (like $16), some less (like$2)
There are lots of wonderful shops to see if your interested in finding a unique gift of your visit here or maybe a gift or two for friends and family. Lots of shops to choose from.
