Not just for food also for other items for sale
It is a pretty busy area on this Board Walk.

Favorite thing: Well, not exactly a favorite thing!

OK, mostly beach bathrooms are just plain disgusting ! This is the case also in Venice Beach- at least inside. One the exterior, however, bathrooms are quite artful like this one pictured.

If you are female and have "to go", remember that the stalls are not private!

Favorite thing: All over the boardwalk are cutie dogs, like these. Yes, the chihuahua does have a red sweater on ! There is even a stand that sells doggie sweaters at Venice Beach. Pups make up a good fraction of the weekend population at Venice Beach!

Favorite thing: Wherever you go in Venice, there is a colorful sense of style. It is displayed on people, buildings , along the streets and indeed at the beach. Here is a shot of an artistic chair especially for a puppy at Big Daddy's a pizzeria along the boardwalk.

Favorite thing: My favorite thing about the Venice Beach Boardwalk is the people who come to see it and the people who earn their living here. It's so diverse and a friendly environment. The artwork is not impressive, the wares are cheap but for the mere price of parking, you can spend 2-4 hours easily being amused and entertained.

Fondest memory: No fond memories I can think of. Just always enjoy my visits and each visit has always been different.

Favorite thing: Visit the Boardwalk! What a trip to see all the street vendors and artisans. Good prices in the shops. Interesting people, sights and sounds.

Fondest memory: It's kind of a toss-up between the beach, and the boardwalk. As far as memories go, I'll remember the boardwalk longer though, because it's just neat.

Favorite thing: You have to walk or roller-blade along the boardwalk. You will see so many interesting people. All sorts of street performers are out and about. Look for the bearded man dressed in all white! He is on roller-blades and carries a guitar which he will use to serenade you as you walk along. The more you are embarrassed, the more he will follow!! (it's rather humorous to watch some unsuspecting 'victim' attempt to get away from him!) There's always something going on here in Venice. There are soooo many sights and smells to take in that you will feel overwhelmed!

Fondest memory: Sitting on the beach on the southern-most part of Venice (bordering on Marina Del Rey) at night...drinking a couple beers...sitting on a blanket....watching the stars (the few that you can actually see in LA)....hearing the waves crash every 15 seconds. It's amazing and absolutely the best place to talk intimately! It's amazing how much people open up in such an environment.
