You can say it is an antique store, but it is a clothing store too, with very hip clothes, I bought a straw hat for the sunny day. It is also a jewelry store with new home goods, love the candles and she has lots of things to do with the beach and yet it has fine exotic textiles with unusual beautiful objects. The owner, Gabrielle has traveled immensely to interesting places finding wonderful treasures.
Hot Moon Collection is at 1501 Main Street, Venice , CA, between Windward and Market at the downtown Venice circle.
What to buy: I love the clothing at Hot Moon and the wild feathered earrings, also the natural scented candles are beautiful, and it is like a museum with all the interesting objects.
What to pay: Well some things here are very expensive and yet you can find a lovely item that you just got to have and it is affordable, I like that.

I dont know exactly how long Venice Beach goes but all along the strand you will find shops and people selling anything you can think off along the sidewalk. There's tons of souvenier shops, smoke shops, tatto shops, fortune tellers, and more.

Think hot Ipanema summer wear all year around here at Rui Motta. There are some very cute items here for ladies with great bodies! The sizes vary somewhat but tend to be great for those who are slender or have curves in control. The hottest articles of clothing here are the tank tops, many with lace trimmed and with vibrant colors.
What to pay: tops go from about $10- $40
jeans from $30
almost all articles under $100

The Venice Beach Boardwalk is amass with stalls and shops, one after the other.
It's a shoppers paradise, although really there are too many people and it's a little battle to move along.
What to buy: Well there are all sorts of things, but some memorable and cheap items to buy are the shell and craft necklaces, and the sweatshirts and t-shirts, again very reasonably priced.
What to pay: Sweatshirts around $USD30.
Necklaces around $USD8 - 20.
You can get a nice lunch for just $USD6.

The Venice Farmer's Market takes place on Saturday in the parking lots between Main and Pacific roughly at Ashland. It's also a really good place to people watch and meet organic, local, produce of the human variety!
What to buy: You can stock up on flowers, produce, organic and otherwise. Specialty foods like olive oils, spreads, cheese, breads. etc. One of my all time favorite things that you'll find at this market and the one in Santa Monica is the pomegranate and apple juice. Deee-liciious. If yiou run across it, GET SOME!
What to pay: The farmer's market is somewhat expensive, but the quality is much better in general. Somethings are gratuitously overpriced, but you make the call.
