Lesher Center for the Arts: Home of Some Great Theater
The Lesher Center for the Arts is a live theater complex in Downtown Walnut Creek. Quality plays, including both drama and comedy, are performed on the various stages. The limited number of shows that I have seem there have been excellent. Concerts are also held at the Lesher Center for the Arts.

This place sucks. The waitresses and bartenders are ugly as hell and the food sucks. Whoever said the waitresses are hot probably works there. All the bouncers think their S@&% don't stink. Its a good place to go to watch ghetto people fight though, just don't get too close because they start fighting any body. The ugly, fat, lame, and old chicks hang out there. I would rather puke on myself and go home alone than the chicks that hang out there. My overall opinion of Masses is it is the worst bar in Walnut Creek.
Dress Code: Anything goes especially the ghetto look.
Dean Lesher Center: Inexpensive date night
Play, concert, dance, you never know what might be offered--and sometimes there are several events a night. Soon there'll be a touring Polynesian dance group, recently there was a piano concerto. I've seen Emilou Harris, Chris Isaak, Shakespeare, Godspell etc. There's always the wonderful little Bedford Art Gallery downstairs.
Dress Code: Dress nice--you're going out, for heaven's sake!

Bettys Rock Bar: Some billiards, some pin ball, some rock-n-roll
Casual attire, cool venue, strong drinks and live music. All good good good!
Dress Code: Dress casually. Jeans and tasteful tshirts are OK. Don't forget your tattoos and piercings!
